ORAJET® 3951RA+ProSlide® and ORAGUARD® 290 Professional Vehicle Wrap Kit
Build high-quality, long-lasting vehicle wraps with a professional Orafol print-and-laminate system. This complete kit combines ORAJET® 3951RA+ProSlide® premium cast printable wrap film with ORAGUARD® 290 gloss premium cast overlaminate in matching 54-inch by 150-foot rolls.
ORAJET 3951RA+ProSlide is a professional 2-mil cast PVC digital printing film developed for full vehicle wraps, commercial fleet graphics, spot graphics, boat wraps and other demanding applications. Its gloss white printable surface provides an excellent foundation for vibrant colors, sharp details and high-impact branded graphics.
The film features both RapidAir® air-egress technology and ProSlide® repositionable adhesive technology. RapidAir channels allow trapped air to escape during installation, while ProSlide provides low initial tack so installers can slide, align and reposition large printed panels before applying final pressure.
ORAGUARD 290 is a premium 2-mil cast PVC overlaminate designed to maintain the conformability of professional vehicle-wrap graphics. It protects printed graphics from UV exposure, abrasion, moisture and weathering while providing a smooth, professional gloss finish.

Designed for Complex Vehicle Wraps
Unlike calendered wrap systems intended primarily for flat or moderately shaped surfaces, this cast film and laminate combination is designed for professional vehicle wraps involving curves, contours and complex body panels.
The matched 2-mil cast construction helps the printed graphic and overlaminate conform together during installation. This makes the system suitable for full vehicle wraps, commercial fleets and other applications where flexibility and dimensional stability are essential.
Printed Outdoor Durability
When printed with a compatible OEM ink system and laminated with ORAGUARD 290, the wrap system may provide printed outdoor durability of up to:
- 7 years in Climate Zone 1: Moderate and northern climates
- 5 years in Climate Zone 2: Transitional climates with moderate UV exposure
- 3 years in Climate Zone 3: High-heat and high-UV regions, including Arizona and other southern markets
Published durability values are based on qualifying vertical exposure and approved processing, installation and maintenance procedures. Horizontal and non-vertical surfaces generally experience greater UV exposure and may have a shorter service life.
Printing and Installation Recommendations
- Use an Orafol ICC profile developed for the selected printer and ink system.
- Allow solvent and eco-solvent prints to dry for at least 24 hours before lamination.
- A drying period of 48 to 72 hours is preferred for heavy ink coverage.
- Keep printed graphics loosely wound or laid flat during the drying period.
- Clean the application surface thoroughly to remove wax, grease, silicone, dirt and other contaminants.
- Confirm that painted surfaces are fully cured and in sound condition.
- Use ProSlide technology to position and align the panel before applying firm pressure.
- Use overlapping squeegee strokes to engage the adhesive evenly.
- Use controlled heat when conforming the film around complex curves and recessed areas.
- Follow Orafol’s current post-heating requirements for stretched and contoured areas.
- Allow the graphic to stabilize before exposing it to washing, rain or severe temperature changes.
Removal Information
ORAJET 3951RA+ProSlide is designed for heat-assisted removal for up to four years from most well-conditioned OEM automotive paint systems. Actual removability depends on the paint condition, installation method, exposure, maintenance and removal procedure.
Test removability before beginning large-scale removal, especially on repainted, repaired, aged or damaged surfaces.
